SCAVENGER HUNT

Between November 1 and November 15, children (3-12 year old) are encouraged to participate in our downtown Find the Donut Scavenger Hunt! Christmas elves holding donuts have been placed in 38 downtown businesses. Children can play by obtaining a printed yellow passport for $1 at Three Roses Boutique (the pink storefront on Main Street), at Thurber’s Jewelers on High Street, or at Franklin Elementary School. The downtown businesses with the donuts are listed on the back of the passport.

Visit the businesses between November 1 and November 15, and when a child finds the donut-holding elf inside a store, ask an employee to stamp the passport. For every 5 stamps received on the passport, the child will receive a free raffle ticket the night of the Candlelight Walk on November 17 to be entered to win one of the first gifts of Christmas handed out by Santa Claus that night. Passports are turned in for raffle tickets at Candlelight Walk on November 17, so bring your passport with you to Candlelight Walk!

A passport with 20 stamps is good for 4 raffle tickets! Raffle tickets will be issued at wristband tables set up next to horse and carriage rides and the miniature train rides.

When you turn in your passport and receive your raffle tickets on November 17 at the Candlelight Walk, drop them in the giant gift box near the downtown gazebo! Santa will pick the winners that night at 8:00 p.m. and you must be present to win!

Anyone wishing to ride the horse carriages, wagon, and miniature train at Candlelight Walk will need to purchase a wristband for $1 per person. Your wristband will cover ALL rides for that evening! Plus, a free raffle ticket comes with each wristband purchase!

Complete rules are on the passports. Children MUST be present at the drawing held at 8:00 p.m. at the Gazebo on November 17 and only ONE prize per child. There will be over 30 different winners that evening!
